Embassy of Kenya in the United States

The Embassy of Kenya in Washington, D.C. is the diplomatic representation of the Republic of Kenya to the United States. It is located in the Kalorama neighborhood at 2249 R Street Northwest, Washington, D.C.
The embassy is open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 to 4:00 PM, except on official holidays in Kenya and the United States.

The Embassy's Mandate

The Embassy's mandate is to promote and protect the interests of Kenya and its citizens in the United States. The Embassy also works to strengthen the relationship between Kenya and the United States.

The Embassy's Responsibilities

The Embassy provides a variety of services to Kenyans and Americans, including:
- Issuing visas to Kenyans traveling to the United States
- Providing consular assistance to Kenyans in the United States
- Promoting Kenyan trade and investment in the United States
- Promoting cultural exchange between Kenya and the United States
In addition to the Embassy in Washington, D.C., Kenya also has two Consulates General in the United States:
